Sergio48641 — I Need Rain

I watch the sky hanging gray
Wishing the clouds would blow my way
Dust on the porch, cracks in the ground
Silence is hanging all over this town
The air is thick freezing the clock
Heat waves are dancing down on the block
The leaves won't move on the tree
We're all just waiting to see
Hear all the thunder down low
Let the heavy winds blow
The sky is dark again
I need the rain
Hey man, I am waiting for rain
I am waiting for rain
I need a cold splash now
I need it.
Need it now
I am waiting for rain
I am waiting for rain
Cool down and
I'm fading slow
Wash down
Let the cool come through
A lightning flash far in the west
Beating a rhythm inside of my chest
The first distant roll shaking the glass
Hoping the dry days finally pass
I keep the windows open wide
To let the smell of the storm inside
If there's a drop on the stone
I won't be waiting alone
Hear all the thunder down low
Let the heavy winds blow
The sky is dark again
I need the rain
Hey man, I am waiting for rain
I am waiting for rain
I need a cold splash now
I need a clean it now
I am waiting for rain
I am waiting for rain
I'm fading slow
Wash down
Let the cool come through
When the road starts shimmering gold
And my patience runs thin and old
I'll trade this dust for the rain
Anything to cool my veins
I am waiting for rain
I need a cold
